Today Sony Ericsson has announced two new Android Xperia Smartphone Ray and Active handsets. Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray and Sony Ericsson Xperia Active both feature 1GHz processors and compact designs and both models will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, a fashionable, 9.4mm thin smartphone and comes with a 3.3 inch scratch-resistant FWVGA Reality Display. The 8.1MP Exmor R camera sensor is capable of video capture at up to 720p HD resolution.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Active is water resistant and dust proof, and has a unique “wet finger tracking” feature for, ensuring “the phone works perfectly when either the screen or a user’s fingers are wet.” It comes with a 3 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of320 x 480 pixels. It has 5MP camera, and 3.0-inch Reality display powered by the Bravia engine.
